Head of economic Infrastructure
Philip is a senior member of the Transaction Advisory team, leading project work in economic infrastructure and finance, with a focus on the transportation sector. His clients include investment funds in Europe and North America, International Infrastructure Developers and Government organisations.
He has over 30 years’ experience in providing policy advice and financial and economic evaluation of infrastructure, with a particular focus on projects that involve private sector financing. He has worked on many toll road schemes, including free flow and dynamic electronic toll collection systems. He has also worked on numerous roadside service area projects and on and off street car parking projects. He has also advised both the public and private sector on transit projects across the world including new urban rail, metro and tram systems. He has also worked on rail freight and logistics projects as well as airport access strategies. Outside of the transport sector he has advised on investments in energy systems, water treatment plants, and municipal infrastructure.
He holds a BSc in Geography, an MSc in Transport Planning and engineering, and is a chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
