Julian supports our clients across a broad range of areas including energy, transport, growth and development. He also has particular expertise in technology and innovation.
Prior to joining Vivid Economics, Julian worked in the Office of the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor in New Zealand where he focussed on economic issues related to science and technology policy. He has also served as an economist with GIZ and more recently as a visiting student researcher in the UK Cabinet Office.
Julian holds an MPhil in Public Policy (with Distinction) from the University of Cambridge and degrees in economics and politics from the University of Auckland.
