Daniel Waring


Daniel’s research experience investigates the causal effects of decentralisation policies on poverty, specifically examining the impact of Scottish devolution on multidimensional deprivation in his Master’s thesis.

He is interested in methods of non-use valuation of natural resources, and the role of economics in encouraging biodiversity improvement through rewilding.

Daniel joined Vivid following completion of his postgraduate studies. He holds an MSc in Economic Development from the University of Glasgow and an MA in Economics from the University of Dundee.
