Developing an urbanisation strategy

Vivid Economics helped support the urban development strategy of a leading international NGO’s. This work considered donor priorities, key gaps in the provision of urban development support, and an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of competitor organisation. The donor review considered both stated policy objectives as well as a detailed quantitative analysis of previous patterns of spending relating to urbanisation while the assessment of competitors and gaps was supported by wide-ranging stakeholder interviews. The resulting analysis was instrumental in defining the organisation’s strategy in this space.
