Thomas Kansy


Thomas is an expert in energy and environmental economics, finance, and quantitative analysis of market trends and regulations.

He works on topics in energy, including oil and gas and low-carbon energy, the impact of regulation on markets, individual firms and the broader economy, and climate finance. Thomas is an experienced quantitative modeler and designs and carries out complex research on the relationship of asset values and regulation.

Thomas has worked with a broad portfolio of public and private clients, including multinational energy companies, multi-lateral organisations such as the OECD and World Bank, governments across the world, and the European Commission.

He holds a Masters in Economic and Financial Research with specialisation in econometrics and a BSc in International Economic Studies from Maastricht University.
