Naina’s work is mainly focused in the energy sector, where she has experience modelling scenarios of energy system transition with environment ambition, including the evolution of energy fiscal revenues, potential for electrification, role of natural gas and grid infrastructure, and energy investment needs to support system-wide changes. Her work also covers energy and climate policy, specifically in building interactive tools with performance indicators and modelling policy interventions through indices in the areas of renewable energy and green growth. She has extensive experience performing economic and data analysis using excel models, and statistical packages such as Stata and GIS.
She holds an MSc in Economics (Distinction) from University College London and a BA (First Class Honours) in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. Prior to joining Vivid, Naina co-founded the NGO Asmat India where she launched two successful youth volunteer programs in rural villages in India.
