Ed is an expert in economic valuation and modelling, innovative finance, regulatory design, and private sector development.

Ed is a professional economist with six years’ experience spanning strategic support in developing countries on the ODI Fellowship, research and public policy at the Institute of Fiscal Studies, and consulting across various sectors at both NERA Economic Consulting and Vivid Economics. He has taken on leading roles across a wide range of projects – from supporting development of Burundi’s national strategy, to advising on the introduction of regulation for the newly created Irish Water utility, or developing planning around the conceptual design and project development for a potential green bond in Nigeria. Ed’s core interest is in bridging the gap between innovative policy research and practical project implementation.

Ed holds an MSc in Economics (with distinction) from University College London, and BSc in Economics (first class) from the University of Bristol.
