Benjamin Rizzo


Benjamin is an environmental economist with experience working across government and consultancy.

He has a specialised in analysing the impact of policies to implement the Paris COP21 agreement and in distilling the results into reports with audiences of differing level of knowledge in economics in order to have a tangible impact. He has worked on projects concerning the Paris COP21 agreement analysing carbon tax and energy efficiency measure policies, for clients such as OPEC and the European Commission Directorate-General for Climate Action. While working as a government economist he has led weekly briefings on the energy market updates including the impact of the EU Emission Trading System and the UK Carbon Price Floor.

He holds a First-Class Honours Economics BSc from Royal Holloway, University of London.
